Ziplock Bags

if I make a pot roast in the crock pot & freeze the leftovers in ziplock bags?

How long will it last frozen? It is pork with carrots and potatoes. What is the best way to freeze it? Are ziplock baggies okay? It is a deep freeze btw…

Ziplocks are fine unless you want to keep them for months and months. The best suggestion I can make from experience is to make sure to spoon lots of gravy into each bag and squeeze all the air out. The gravy ( even if it seems like too much) will keep the meat from getting freezer burnt.
