Did Elway prove that teams win Super Bowls, not QB’s?
When John Elway was in his prime, he could not win a Super Bowl. In fact, he always lost blown out! That was because his team wasn’t as good as later on.
Then a way past prime Elway wins two Super Bowls because he had had a great team.
Favre way outplayed Elway, and yet lost to him because the Packer defense didn’t show up and T.D. ran wild for 157 yards.
Favre threw for 257 yds., 3 TD’s, 1 INT.
Elway threw for 123 yds., 0 TD’s, 1 INT
You look at that line, you say Favre was MUCH better and won the game, but he didn’t.
I think that pretty much kills the argument that Super Bowl wins means the better QB. I think MVP’s is a much better measure.

You have always been a Favre-hating azzhole! Favre has a better lifetime TD to INT ratio than Elway. Look it up. In fact, Favre is better than Elway in ANY measurable statistic!
depends on the team itself really, can’t use one QB to prove a point,. Yet I think Favre does deserve that ring.
