Hi in my new backyard their this tree it has red apples.Is it safe to eat it ?

Hi I move my new home & in my back yard, it has red apples & I was thinking is it safe to eat it & even if I use vegi sanatizer? Thanks.

If you are worried about chemical contamination……..well…..maybe. No way of knowing if the previous owner sprayed the trees before they left. Washing them with sanitizer probably won’t remove any chemical, just dust and air pollutants. Still, not a bad idea.

Frankly if everything around the tree looks good, no signs of chemical intervention for weed control, then I’d probably go ahead and eat them. You are sure, though, they are apples?
