Yards Magenta

I found a weird plant in my front yard, but I have no idea what it is. Any ideas?

It’s about eight feet tall, and has grown to that height in about three months. Its stem has a pink-purple-green tint with segments like bamboo. The leaves are about a foot wide with seven sections/prongs each, and also have a purple tint, though not as distinct as the stem. The berries are the most unique. They’re clustered in spear shapes. The individual berries are spikey and a dark periwinkle color, with one spot that’s magenta or hot pink. Any ideas?
My co-worker keeps saying it’s pot and can I hook her up with some potberries haha

Sounds like pokeweed, although I haven’t seen one that’s 8 feet tall…yet. Check out the picture on this website.
