Aaron Rogers led the team in 2008, being the first quarterback other than Favre to lead the team in 16 years. The new quarterback performed well in his first game throwing 28 touchdowns and over 4000 years. Despite the good offense, the Packers lost due to poor offense. The team faced the Vikings in 2009 which was led by their former quarterback, Favre. It was held during a Monday Night Football game which sold a lot of Packers tickets. The Packers lost 30-23 to the Vikings, but the match was a record high in ratings.
