Wood Pieces

Is there anywhere i can get free or cheap pieces/boards of wood?

Im getting into WoodWork and i want to see about getting some free pieces of wood that were probably only going to get thrown out. Im happy to pay for postage but im in australia so please don’t make it too far away.

Do you have builder’s skips in Australia? Big steel rubbish containers where they dump their offcuts. Ask first and they will be pleased you will make more room for them in the skip.
