Would like to start my own wood crafting business; can you make good $$$ in this type of business?

There are not many wood craft stores in my area.

Really it depends on your market, you say there are not alot of similiar businesses in your area. This could be a good thing but it could also mean that there is no market for woodcraft. My advice would be to start off small that way you don’t risk loosing a big investment. As well you will never make back the hours that you put in to making your product so you really have to love it. In this day and age people want quick and cheap. That’s why you see so much massed produced garbage! Set up a website or even an eBay store to reack the international market and you may have a better chance. Most importantly research! The more you know about your market the better off you’ll be. A solid business plan will also be a benifit to you. Good luck!
