Pitter-patter in the attic at night and no droppings to be found?
Every night almost without fail for the last two weeks, there has been a random pitter-patter in the back section of my one-story home. At first, we thought that the source of the noise was a squirrel or mice on top of the roof externally. However, we realized that they have to be in the roof because of the sheer volume of the noise. We had a woman from pest control come and look in our attic for droppings, chewed wires, or damaged boxes which would signal the tree rats that have been a problem for our neighbors. However, none of this was found in the attic. Although the inspector was unable to get to the front of the house where the source of the noise is located, she said that she could not see anything there and that she didn’t think it was an animal. So, my question to you is: what in the world is in my attic? Could it be vibrations… electrical problems? Please help us! We can’t sleep at night. Thanks in advance!
Moth balls with a sling shot, launch them towards that end of the house.
