Wired Green

How do I wire a light switch with only one black and one green wire?

Is the green wire the ground? Do I just hook up those two wires to the terminals to be open and closed? Do I hook up the black wire to a terminal and the green to the ground? Any help will be appreciated.Thank You>

Green is Earth for grounding
Red- phase
Blue neutral
