what size screws do I use to fix 1metre long 88mm wide x 25mm thick boards to runners 1.5 metre long .?

There will be 15 vertical boards fixed to two runners fixed to brick wall pillars. I will be drilling two pilot holes through the runners so that the screws (4 to each board, two top and two bottom) grip the boards. What size and length wood screws should I use. The wood is southern yellow pine.
the runners are the same width and thickness as the fence boards.

14 screws should do it your length will have to be at least 37mm 45 recommended but it depends on the thickness of your runners
