Waxed Braided

My dreads won’t lock, what should I do?
This is my 2nd time, trying 2 get my dreads 2 lock.The first time, I tried twisting it, this time I box braided them & then twisted them.I tried Murray’s bee’s wax, it worked, but my hair came loose after washing it.I tried pro style the first time, it worked, but after I wash it, it look terrible.Now I used the Rasta locking jell, conditioner, & shampoo.
Look into the interlocking process. Look up the Nappylocks Tool it is affordable and a good DIY maintenance method for dreads of all textures and sizes.

Interlocking will not break healthy hair if the method is applied correctly which seems to be hard for some people to understand/master. Do any of these individuals look like their dreads are breaking off or hanging on for dear life? I will let the asker decide rather than force feed an opinion/method to them.

Crochet + backcomb also works well for curly soft hair textures;
Both methods allow you to wash your dreads often and easily without having them unravel.
In the future please avoid wax it is hydrophobic thus repels water, shampoo and encourages build up, mold/mildew, and bugs. To remove wax use a clarifying shampoo or baking soda paste followed by a apple cider vinegar rinse and then a cool water rinse and wash with the hottest water you can stand while palm rolling and squeezing the wax residue out and encouraging your locks to form into cylindrical shapes.
To tame frizz and encourage locking use pure aloe gel the kind for sun burns the organic and natural brands work best. Shea/cocoa butter also absorb into the hair and encourage strength and knotting inside the dreads. These products absorb into the hair and scalp properly preventing build up and are water soluble so they wash away easy evey time you wash so the next time you apply it it will not cause build up or a dull greasy/sticky film or residue on your locks.
