What are some things I can do to make money as a teenager?

I am saving up money this summer for a number of things, but mostly school clothes. I am trying to save up a lot, and then spend it all in only a few shopping trips, rather than spend it little by little. The problem is, the only way i have to get money is through my parents, and it’s not very much. My original plan was to make crafts and stuff and sell them at craft fairs and such, but you have to sign up and all that. I love making crafts and certain clothing pieces, but I don’t know if it’s legal to sell them at your front door. I was thinking I should babysit, but then I have to take the class, which i missed. Any ideas? ps: I am not really rushing this, i just want a good wad by the last month or so of summer. thanks!

If you make lots of crafts, sell them on etsy.com. It’s just like eBay, but for handcrafters. My mother started selling craft supplies on there and now she has 2 employees and a warehouse. My sister also pays her rent from selling clothes on etsy.

You need to take excellent pictures, write excellent descriptions, and price your product according to your competitors. If you have a good product and some general computer know-how, you’ll do great!
