Vintage Findings

NEED ANSWERS ASAP! GSCE Media: Conducting a questionnaire for a magazine?
The question is ‘Is there a gap in the market for your magazine? conduct some market research to out what would appeal to your audience. Your findings may be presented in form of charts, surveys or questionnaires?’
The magazine i am doing is for a vintage fashion and beauty magazine, i do believe there is a gap in the market for it cause it is an original idea and will stand out from the usual fashion magazines. My problem is i don’t really get the question?! I’ve decided i want to do a questionnaire or survey and i know i’ve got to ask about 20 people but WHAT SHOULD MY QUESTIONS BE? please help! Doing all my media work today so i can start taking photography for it tomorrow!
You need to find customers who would be interested in that sort of fashion as it’s a niche market. Who wears vintage fashion ? Would they appreciate your magazine? What would they want included in it ? eg history of the fashions you show. Ads for specialist shops etc. New designs based on old styles.
Ask if people like to look individual rather than buy mass produced clothes.
Do they like romantic styles?
Do they like the clothes of the 1960s/ 1970s or even earlier.
Do they like the make up of these periods?
I hope this helps in some way.
