Should I use a plastic or glass vial when making my necklace?

I need to make a few necklaces for a swap, so I want to make them of some quality. I’m going to be using a flat silver tag/pendant along with a charm, but I also want to use a vial with a cork for the necklaces. Now the only thing is should I use a plastic vial and fit in a cork somehow, or should I use the glass vials? I’m only asking because I’m worried that the silver tag and glass vial would be constantly scratching on each other, or is it possible the vial can easily crack or break somehow? I’m not sure if this is a stupid question but, I would appreciate any response or advice. Thank you!

I think you can definitely use a glass vial! I’ve made a necklace with a glass vial before and I loved it
