Needs fabric help plz?

im making a mermaid tail that i can swim with and im adding some detail like fins along the side and i want a see through fabric,i found a fabric i like but idk if it can go underwater heres the link

Yes, you can wash this fabric or put it in a pool, but it is not stretchy (it’s a woven). And it will ravel like crazy on all cut edges unless they’re properly finished.
