Turkey Wing

Is there any disadvantage to cooking turkey wings w/ a rubbed spice in a crockpot?
Since it’s now hot outside, I’m not really wanting to bake these. Anyone ever tried cooking this in a crockpot? How does it come?
You will end up with soggy, limp turkey skin. One of the best parts of the wing is the crispy skin. If you are going to do the wings in the crock pot remove the skin first, season then cook.
