apply black vinyl to window trim?

I want to black out the trim on my car…but want it to be reversible. I know vinyl makes this possible. Which brand is best to use for that satin black or matte black look? How easy is it to apply yourself?

While in theory you could do this, getting this stuff off your trim without damaging it would be a major issue, it stick really hard after awhile.
