How to remove Cheesecake from metal tin?

I just made some Chilled Cheesecake and I put it in a 10 inch metal tin around 5 cm deep.. I just wanna know how to remove the cheesecake out from the metal tin with the biscuit base on the bottom without breaking anything on the cake?

You are supposed to use a springform pan with a cheesecake, but if you used the metal tin, take some waxed paper and tip it over on top of it, use a knife and hit the end with it.
