Thin Magnetic

current required to remove tension in wires supporting a rod in a magnetic field?
a thin conducting rod, 80 cm long and mass of 10 grams is suspended horizontally by a pair of vertical flexible connecting wires in a region where the magnetic field B=0.4 T is horizontal and perpendicular to the rod. What current is required to flow in the rod to just remove the tension in the support wire?
A detailed response would be greatly appreciated.
the current should be such that the nmagnetic force is equal to the rod’s weight. so:
iLB = mg
=> i (0.8 x 0.4) = .01 x 9.8
=> i = 0.3 A
