Sword Fern

have a sword ferns how tall do they get?

i have 2 sword ferns and was wondering how tall do these get?i read somewhere that they get to be 8 ft tall is this true? also what type of light do they like ? do they get a trunk on them?

With moist soil and good bright light sword ferns can grow fonds 3 feet or more and get 3 ft. around.They do best on a south side protected from winds and need some afternoon shade,or filtered sunlight.I always move all my ferns in for the winter zone 7.I have never heard of one getting 8 feet though.
