String Ribbon
what to use as a pull-string for a lamp, light, fan, etc ?
Moved into a house and in one bedroom, they had this super dorky green ribbon, with a key chain ring at the bottom to weigh it down, as the pull device for the light. It looks so tacky I am almost embarassed to write it. In another room there is no string.
Can someone suggest a CHEAP thing(s) I might consider using as the pull string? That will look real decent and isn’t hard to find.
You can get a classic beaded pull chain with a diamond-shaped acrylic knob for $4.29 at K-Mart.
