how many ounces does your 5 month old eat (formula no solids)?
how often do you feed him? every 3, 4 or 5 hours?
My 5 month old eats 5 oz every 3 hours. Is that fine?
Oh I dont feed him solids yet.
6 ounces every 4-5 hours.
He should be drinking doubble his weight in ounces. IE. If he weighs 13lbs he should be getting 26 oz of formula a day. If he has 5 feedings per day that is roughly 5 ounces per bottle. If he has 4 feedings a day it is 6.5 ounces per bottle.
If he has enough wet/soiled diapers, he is fine.
