Snaps Purse

Snaps Purse
So do I have better chances of keeping my computer safe from my purses magnetic snaps if I have my laptop in a?

I carry my laptop in a case in my purse, does that increase the chance for my laptop not getting harmed by the magnets closures?

First, the strength of a magnetic field falls greatly the further away from that magnet you get. So anything that will move your laptop away from the magnet will reduce its effect on your laptop (a sleeve for example).

Second, the chances of your purse magnets affecting your laptop under normal conditions is nil.
This is a myth that’s been around since the bad old days (when magnets really could erase floppy disk data). You can read about it here: http://www.pcworld.com/article/116572/busting_the_biggest_pc_myths.html
