Is there any way to remove tarnish from sterling silver?
I have a sterling silver ring that I adore. Unfortunately because I’ve worn it almost ever day for the last 6 months, it’s become rather tarnished on the outer edges, with a brassy appearance on one part and a dull greenish-gray appearance on another part of the side. Is there any way to restore the original silver appearance of my ring?

You can buy a silver polishing cloth. You can store them inside a plastic zip lock or any plastic little bag thingy if you’re not wearing them.
You can also use soft toothbrush, toothpaste (if there’s no gem on it, and it’s just sterling all around), and brush them lightly, rinse well.
You can also spray window cleaner, the ammonia will help get the oxidize from the ring.
The best thing I use is the polishing cloth, because I can avoid whatever stone(s) and not scratch it, it won’t get scratched, but you can also go to a jewelry store who polishes your Diamond & gold rings.
One at Freidlander’s jewelry, there one guy who did my sterling malachite bracelet last Christmas, because I was buying something there, and he offered! He made it looked like new again. I polish my bracelet etc . . . often. I don’t like wearing tarnished anything, because it shows I take care of my stuff and I care.
I own lots of jewelry from Platinum, gold, silver and pearls!
