What Cars To Take When Going Camping?

Not so long ago we went on a camping trip from Midlands to Isle Of Wight. There was about 13 of us but we were not sure which cars to take. At first we thought we will just take our normal 3 doors cars but then we realised we won’t be able to fit our camping gear with bbq equipments. We researched on the net for cars and read car reviews on which car to take then we all decided one 4×4 should be good to fit our BBQ and camping gears.

We hired 3 litre automatic Nissan Navara, it didn’t cost us much but it did drink quite a bit of diesel. Though I have to say it is a fantastic car to drive, it has massive amount of room to fit your luggage including your campaign gear, chairs, bbq equipments and we even took some woods for some fire in the beach and because you are going on a long drive automatic cars are always relaxing.

After reading reviews and few time spent on research we contacted the local used cars leasing company for a quote. They quoted us for the time we wanted to hire the car for and when we saw the quote we all were shocked to see how cheap it was to hire this 4×4. One of the plus point was definitely when we were on the way to Portsmouth to Isle of Wight from London we caught a horrible traffic in M25, I was driving the Nissan Audi R8. We had to catch 4:30 Ferry to Isle Of Wight from Portsmouth and when we hit M25 it wasn’t looking good but the Nissan navigation was just awesome found me a M3 to M27 route which also showed traffic. It was a brilliant navigation. If only the M3 or even the R8 had it. It was not only the navigation system that impressed me, it was the speed, the power and the performance of the 4×4 which impressed all of us.
