Wedding Invitations…?
I currently run a very successful home based invitation business. Ive been making custom invitations for approx 4 years as well as doing classes and fundraisers. Im looking to add more options to my product line due to changing trends.
What price ( per invitation ) would you pay for a wedding invitation? My average price ranges from $3.00 -4.75.
Invitation includes – invite & envelope, rsvp & envelope, reception or accommodation card, printing, as well as all taxes . Invites are all cut and assembled by hand and designed by me using only the best quality paper, ribbons and crystals.
all invites are at least 3 layers…and come in matt or shimmer papers.
Taking this step would mean that prices could be bumped up to approx $6.50 at the highest.
Seeing some of the other bigger busnisses with same/similar styles range from $7-10. each and dont come with RSVP or reception card.
Do I expand or risk being looked over, due to the preferable trends?
I think your price sounds good and it seems that you’re offering customers a lot for their money. Beautiful hand made invites sound so much better than mass produced stuff
