Sheets Gilding

how do you gild a tree leaf, or gold plate jewlery?
i’m not interested in starting a business or anything, I just think these leaves and acorns in things, either laces or edged in gold look really pretty and would be neat to give as gifts, especially if it was from a place visited that meant something sentimental.
Does anyone know how this is done?
Some use dips, or sheets even, and electro-form? I don’t know.
Help please!
You are correct, you will need the gold leaf sheets, dip, or some other form of gold for gilding. You will find these products at your local craft shop where you also can get the instructions you will need.
Don’t forget to gild your baby shoes – might make a nice gift for Mother’s Day may 10th.
If you are in a city where there is a Michaels Craft store, check the Sunday paper for 40% off coupons.
Good luck with your craft project.
