Sheer Green

How do i dye green fabric to white?
Basically i have some hideous green blotchy sheer curtains that i want to dye white. Is there a way to do it or a product that could help?
Ordinary bleach might not do it.
Fabric shops often carry a range of fabric dyes, in small tins. The same manufacturers make a dye stripper, which is stronger and more effective than ordinary bleach. Make sure to get the one that will work in cold or luke-warm water, as your sheer curtains are most likely nylon, which is not suitable for boiling. You soak the fabric in the dye stripper, in a bucket or pot. It might take several hours of soaking, with rinsing in between, to get all the colour out.
IF you don’t find the dyes and stripper in a fabric shop, you can try a shoemaker (they often carry this range as well as the shoe colour-changers) or a very large hardware store.
