Why does a Denim Pro II babylock B15 reverses fabric sewing direction and gets stuck there?

A Baby Lock Model B15 Denim Pro II started in the right direction. After some use it reversed the direction of the fabric during sewing (from going away to coming to the operator) and cannot go back to origin. There is a kind of U Turn lever that changes direction of sewing on this unit and it is supposed to work to change direction?

The reverse is broken, until you get it repaired…make sure the needle is down, lift presser foot and rotate fabric, lower presser foot and sew.
