Sewing Dress

How can I find a sewing pattern to a wedding dress that I only have a picture of?
I was sent a pic joke with a wedding dress on it that I would like to wear in my wedding. It had the diydespair.com address at the bottom of the pic but when I went to the site, I could not find any info on the dress itself, just the pic. I need help! I want to have it sewn up and have not much time left to do so. Thank you in advance for any helpful info.
Take your picture to a qualified seamstress. Be sure to ask for and follow through with telephone calls of the seamstresses references. Ask for references of custom wedding gowns she has designed in the past two years.
An experienced seamstress will be able to make you anything. I once made one dress from styles found in 5 pictures. This front, that back, this hemline, those sleeves and that skirt. Just be sure you have a written and signed contract and provide a detailed written description along with a copy of the picture. Keep copies for yourself, too.
Word of mouth is a great place to find what you want. Ask everyone you know if they know a seamstress. Or, place a small add in the classified section of your newspaper. Most importantly is to get references and know that your seamstress understands what you want. She can help you get the correct fabric for your project. Do not insist on a fabric if she states it is not compatible with your design as that is a guarantee for failure.
Get started today because these things take time. good luck to you.
