USA Military Band?????

I can’t seam to find anything out, about joining the band. are we put through physical training? and are we expected to go over seas and fight??? and about how long are we bound to them? about four years?

One item overlooked by most Soldiers, is that Army Bands – at all levels – have a secondary mission of guarding the unit headquarters. Example: if you are in the Eighth Army Band, then when the headquarters goes to the field (or war), then the Band guards the headquarters field sites and manages access.

In the old days, the bands were trained as medics and stretcher bearers when they were not playing music, but now it is headquarters security.
