My dress for prom is black. Should my date go for a pinstripe or solid tux?

my dress is strapless, black and satin material. the pinstripe tux is black with dark gray stripes. he’s wearing a gray vest no matter the tux.

Pin stripe is way hot (has that 40′s gangster look). With the grey vest, it would look great. Go with him when he goes to try it on and see for yourself.
