Why complain about Sailor Moons civilian name?

I’m just curios why is everyone so confused cause her name is Bunny (Sailor Moon?) I think it fits her from her hair to her history and personality and its cute (my pet rabbit would never stop eating and was lazy) if its so ridiculous name why is the girls in the U.s Named Florida and other names of states, Asia, China or India? And in the 45kids version of Yugioh Mai is named Mai Valentine (My Valentine) so whats wrong with a pun? Naoko made Usagi’s name a pun, so whats the deal? And its original

I think people who complain about her name being Bunny aren’t complaining about the name itself, but more that the US versions of the anime and manga used different names-Serena in the anime, Bunny in the manga. I know this bugged me when I first started getting into the series when I was younger.
