What do you people think about royal purple motor oil does really work?

yes, it does…there is a reason why synthetics and royal purple cost more..The reason is technology in the oil they slow down the wear and tear on the engine and they reduce friction at higher rpm’s and when the oil reaches high temperatures it does not break down like conventional oils…I have used the synthetics from Lucas oil and royal purple forever and I can notice a difference in my car and a friend who has the same car who just usues the cheapest stuff…I do not think it is worth the 5-8 dollars a quart unless you have a high performance car because you will not see the benefits…I own a 98 mustang gt rwhp dyno at 389 and a 20006 Honda accord vtec fwhp dyno at 308 so you can see it is important ….but for a regular commute it may help a little but not woth thecash to spend.
