Why did my red rose bush turn into pink rose bush over winter?

Why did my red rose bush turn into pink rose bush over winter?
I have 4 or 5 rose bushes in my front yard and they were red roses last year and now they are pink.How could this have happened?

Hybrid varieties can mutate.

Variegated shrubs will often revert back to non-variegated traits.
