Why won’t my rose bush grow new buds?

It’s growing indoors, it’s 8 inches tall and in a 10 inch pot. When we bought it, it was full of flowers but they only lasted 2 weeks. the plant seems to be doing well lots of leaves but no new buds. help please

You need to trim that sucker. Put it in the ground or in a bigger container. And watch your watering. Give it rose food once a month.
