Xenon Hood Scoop on 2007 Mustang?
I put the scoop on my Mustang with the double sided 3m tape supplied, no other hardware was provided. Anyway after about 4 months the front of the scoop started to come off. My question is does anybody else have this hood scoop and is there a way to fasten it to the hood using (bolts, rivets, etc) there is no template and the rear of the scoop is quit thin. Any help is welcome.
Every one I had ever seen were held on by double sided 3M tape. You might have to take it off and remove the old tape and replace with new. Making sure the hood is clean and free of any foreign material.
If it had a lip around it you could pop rivet it on and cover the rivets with fiberglass and paint.
