Ribbon Yorkies
DS: Can anyone show me how to make a topknot bow for a show Yorkie?
My neighbor has 3 nice looking Yorkies that we groom every 2 weeks, she is growing their hair out. They are all about half of what she wants them to be, but they all have full ponytails and slightly longer heads then their bodies.
They currently get “regular” topknot bows and I would like to surprise her by making them some very fancy bows. We have plenty of ribbons at the shop, but i have no earthly idea on how to make anything >.O Yorkies are not my expertise.
ADD: We professionally groom them every 2 weeks, she does her own thing at home, i don’t know what she does other than daily brushing.

My friend makes her own, using the little girl’s toothed butterfly clips.
She uses the one with gold glitter in them, and her bows appear just like those shown in that website.
She wraps the topknot, and twist-ties it, with a piece of pipe-cleaner, as she says that doesn’t break the fragile hair, and then clips the bow on.

You’ll find them at any dollar store or WalMart.

I did find an instruction page, but it had a sniper virus! I had to shut down and run malwarebytes to get rid of it..I’m afraid to keep looking, as I don’t wanna go there again..sigh
