Ribbon Plum

Ribbon Plum
In need of wedding flower help?

(This is BigKyle’s fiance, Michelle)

We are getting married in September and I’ve had my heart set on ivory calla lilies with purple middles, for the longest time.. But after finalizing my centerpieces, favors and place cards, I am second guessing myself.. Centerpieces are a nice vase of dried black bearded wheat with a ribbon around it. favors are wildflower seed in a box, with plant-able seed paper as the thank you tag. and my place cards are bloom box bud vase, will dried lavender in them. So from all that I guess you could say that it’s going to have an ‘earthy’ feel.. So now I am not sure if calla lilies are the way to go.. My color are olive green, plum purple and chocolate brown.. Any suggestions??

I think calla lilies would work fantastically with that wedding. I’ve done a lot of work with florists and have been to a fair few weddings, and as far as the earthy feel goes, calla lilies are a great moderate semi-casual flower but still classically beautiful. the purple centers will tie in well with the lavender and the purple hue of the bearded wheat. I think it would be really beautiful.
