What make-up to wear to Winter Formal?

My Winter Formal is this Saturday. My dress is an Ivory halter, with a Black satin ribbon under the bust. What makeup should I wear with this dress? Thanks so much!
Also, I have a ivory complexion, and Gold/brown eyes.

Your outfit sounds gorgeous! Here are two ideas:
1) Use a high-definition foundation so you will look nice in your photos. Remember, foundation with SPF is bad for photo taking as it turns out white against the flash. Make sure you use powder so you won’t get shiny while dancing. Use a pinkish toned blush with a hint of shimmer. NARS Orgasm is a nice one, as is Revlon Colorstay pink blush.
Then, line your eyes with a dark black gel or liquid eyeliner: Avon, Stila, and Lancôme all make great ones as does Mac. Use a bit more at the corners of your eyes and let the tip come slightly out for a retro effect.
Then, since your eye makeup is simple, go and play up your lips– I think bright red (but not a clown color; something more crimson than true red) would look awesome with an ivory and black combo!

2) Another idea, would be to use a shimmery, pretty eyeshadow color (soft peach, Kitten by Stila, or something with a slight gold tone) on your eyes and along the lash line. Then go over with dark black eyeliner. Use a neutral toned shimmery lip gloss for your lips, and follow up with your usual blush.

These two would be nice on someone with ivory skin and gold eyes. Have fun and be safe!
