Red Purple

I have this red/purple bruise that just appeared on my leg that doesn’t hurt when pressed, what is it?

I have always been really active: like running, soccer, golf, etc… Well recently this red/purple bruise looking mark appeared on my left leg just below my knee. To my knowledge I didn’t bump it on anything. Does anyone know what this may be? Is it related to me running and putting pressure on my knee?
