What should my date wear if im wearing a red dress?

Winter formal is in 2 weeks. Im wearing a floral red dress and I need to figure out what my boyfriend should wear.. ANYTHING BESIDES BLACK! i was thinking a purple or navy sweater maybe but what color pants??
