Raffia Ribbon

class reunion centerpieces?

I am in charge of centerpieces for my class reunion in two weeks. The school colors are red and gray, but I was trying to add in a fall flair as well. I was thinking of painting pumpkins white, adding red and gray polka dots or stripes to the pumpkin and topping with ray and gray ribbon or raffia. Does anyone have any better ideas—or can you suggest any ways to improve upon this one? Thanks

I would suggest using nostalgic things for the centerpieces. Things like pom poms, old pictures, pennants, maybe the mascot, but definitely pictures from that year. It would make a good conversation starter for sure! You could even include pop culture items from that year.
