Purple Tone

How long should I leave in purple conditioner to tone blonde hair?

I’ve recently bleached my hair to light blonde. It still has a slightly “strawberry” tone to it. To neutralize it, I put a purple conditioner in it. How long should I leave it in. I want it to get rid of the brassy tones, but I don’t wan’t my hair turning purple. Thanks in advance!
