Purple Red

What hair dye is best to use for African American hair? Also I want bright vibrant colors like purple or red?

I’m half black and half white but my hair is African American like. I would like to get highlights of purple, red or blue. But I don’t know what will work. Thanks in advance.

Any chemical dye can cause breakage in hair (especially since you would have to bleach hair to get a very vivid color) so I recommend all-natural henna.

For a temporary color I recommend a colored hair spray or gel that is sold in drug stores. You jusr spray it into hair. It’s just a coating and it comes out in one wash. Temporary and fun.
