I realy want this hair style, help?

ok, all the preppy girls seem to do it. it looks kinda like a puffy poodle.
its straight then the top layer seems to be higher. how do u do this?

Its called the poof, or better yet the pompadour…. You take your bangs or the crown which is the top of your hair and a comb and you tease tease tease the closer the base of the hair, the higher your poof will be, then after its teased, you smooth over with a brush not digging deeply so you wont tear the tease. After you spray over with a good hair spray that will hold, aquanet or big sexy hair are great ones. you take two or three bobby pins or however many you need and you pin what you teased back while pushing it up. This style can be worn with hair down, straightened, or with loose curls it can also be worn up in a bun better known as a chignon, or however youd like, enjoy!

Teasing hair is when you take the comb and and go up and down up and down until it starts to pufff
