Can somebody explain some Scrabble rules?

Premium squares are the ones that double or triple the entire word score, or double or triple single letter scores. You can get both with the same play if you put your tiles down on them.
You add up the word score by using the face value of the tiles, then counting up the premiums and adding them to the total for your turn.
For example, triple letter scores involve the number of points the tile that is on the dark blue square gets. Say you put the Q on a dark blue space; that’s 30 points. You add that to the total for the word.
If you have an overlapping word (putting an S onto a word already on the board when you use the S in your word), you get the points for both the old word and your new word. You can only double or triple your word (if on a pink or red square), not the word that was already there.
