My cat acts like she has kittens?

My cat is about 4 years old and she has had 2 pregnancies. We got her fixed about 2 years ago and for the past 4 or 5 months she acts like she has kittens. She gets into my crafts and will grab bags of pom-poms, beads, teddy bears and carry them upstairs to my bed and then meows really loud and lays down beside me. Every morning we wake up to 10 to 20 bags of stuff drug out. It is so cute but yet it is so sad. Why is she doing this and is there anything we can do about it.

She sounds like she needs another kitty to play with. Maybe you can get a kitten for her to play with. If she is 4 years old, she will adjust to a new kitty in about two weeks. The first two weeks will be all hissing and growling, then they will become friends. Otherwise, if you do not want another kitty, just give her lots of love and a teddy bear.
