Pine Cones

are the pine cones on an artificial xmas tree real?

does anyone know if the pine cones on an artifical xmas tree would be real? we want a new tree but our daughter is “sensitive” to pine. the one we have seen has cones (as most do!), they are very brittle, break easy and don’t appear to smell of pine. Does this mean they are as fake as the tree?

If the manufacturers of that Christmas tree company put real cones on their tree, there may be a risk of them rotting. So the pine cones are completely fake.
