Tips for Picking out Bridal Jewelry for Your Bridesmaids

While picking the bridal jewelry for your bridesmaids may seem like a small thing, it can really be quite a task, and definitely needs to be given some consideration. Of course jewelry for the bridal party may not be at the top of the list of your things to do, but you do need to get it done before the wedding. To make the process easy for you, then follow these five simple tips in helping you pick out the right bridal jewelry for your bridesmaids.

Tip #1 – Have pictures of your bridesmaid dresses with you as you go shopping. It’s always a great idea to bring along pictures of their dresses with you as you are shopping for their jewelry. This way you can really remember the type of dress that they are wearing and how it really looks. Actually having a picture of the dress on one of the bridesmaids may be the best idea.

Tip #2 – Match bridal jewelry color to bridesmaid dress color – Choosing bridal jewelry for your bridesmaids that will match the color of their dresses is very important. Of course the color of the dress isn’t the only thing that matters when choosing bridal jewelry. Consider the colors of the wedding decorations or the colors of their flowers. The last thing you want is jewelry for the bridesmaids that clashes with their dress or their flowers.

Tip #3 – Remember the Cut of the Dress – The cut of the bridesmaid dresses is important as well when you’re picking out jewelry for your bridesmaids. The neckline of each dress will determine what type of bridal jewelry you pick out. Elaborate necklines can be complimented by very simple necklaces. However, a simple necklace will compliment a more elaborate neckline.

Tip #4 – Individuality is Great – Remember, the bridal jewelry doesn’t have to be the same for everyone. If all of your bridesmaids are wearing diffferent styles of dresses, then choose bridal jewelry that will compliment each style individually.

Tip #5 – Hairstyles will Make a Difference – Consider the hairstyle the bridesmaids will be wearing when you pick out bridal jewelry for them as well. Different hairstyles call for different earrings and necklaces. Make sure you remember these things.
